NOUMENA DIGITAL AG is a deep technology scale-up of highly skilled engineers and domain experts based in Baar, Zug, Switzerland. We have operated for over six years and have large-scale enterprise systems in production for over four years.

The role

We are looking for a new colleague, a Software Architect, to report to the Head of NOUMENA Solutions.

As a Software Architect, you will design and implement sophisticated software solutions tailored to our clients' needs. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that our solutions align with client expectations and industry standards.

Responsibilities of this role

Design and develop high-level software architecture ensuring security, scalability, reliability, performance, operability, and maintainability.
Produce and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Define and oversee the integration of different systems and components.
Establish and enforce coding standards, design principles, and best practices.
Diagnose and resolve architectural issues and technical challenges.
Work with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Engage with clients to gather requirements and present architectural solutions.
Ensure architectural designs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Continuously assess and improve architectural processes and methodologies.
Create sales material, teasers, factsheets, flyers

Qualifications for this role:

Strong academic foundation with a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields.
Professional certifications in software architecture (e.g., TOGAF, iSAQB)
are highly desirable.
5+ years of experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering complex software solutions.
Experience working in client-facing roles, ideally within project-based, tailor-made solution environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply software solutions to create business value.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members in both German and English
Ability to work part-time in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as required.
